Differentiated Instruction and Education Blog

Differentiated Instruction in the Classroom

“An education isn’t how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It’s being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don’t.” — Anatole France

Welcome! My name is Kayla Cunningham. The following blog provides resources and tools for differentiated instruction inside the classroom. Over the past seven years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach a diverse group of students from over thirty countries. My educational experience is in 3-12th grade education and adult ESL. As a result, I have developed highly effective teaching techniques and instructional methods, which have allowed me to educate all styles and ages of learners, and foster a fun, engaging and a positive learning environment. The following posts are meant to guide teachers.

As educators, we all know that our students do not learn the same way. The question is, how do we meet the needs of each student? The following blog discusses the 4 main learning styles based on the VARK model, technology in the classroom, and differentiated instruction.
